Not a Baker Fruit Danishes

SHORT intro, then on to the recipe! I’m not much for sweets, but I love Danishes and wanted to make some using our homemade jam. I’m also not a baker and Danishes from scratch require you to be a baker. I came up with an idea, tried it, and they turned out great!

Ingredients

One roll of refrigerated crescent rolls

Your favorite jam(s)

¼ cup of powdered sugar

2 tsp of milk

Coffee (That’s for later)

Instead of rolling the triangular dough into a crescent shape, ball it and press your thumb into the center (but not all the way through).

Blackberry & Strawberry Jam

Place a small amount of jam, into the thumb print.

Bake according to the package. I baked mine at 375* for 12 minutes.

Remove from the oven but leave the oven on.

Mix milk (I used oat milk) with powdered sugar using a small whisk or fork if you don’t have a whisk. Drizzle icing onto the Danishes.

Put back into the oven for 2-3 more minutes.

Remove and allow Danishes to completely cool before eating.

Eat with coffee, of course.
